Hi there...

I’m Alok Bhardwaj and I work on PeopleSoft Application packages. My core skills comprise of PeopleSoft system design/architect (technical), PeopleSoft application administration and DBA, PeopleSoft HRMS (TAM, WFA, eRecruitment) & Global Payroll functionalities.


To start with, I have an overall 6+ years of total IT experience, out of which 5.5 Years of Experience in PeopleSoft Administration/DBA, Technical & functional Operations and Architecture of PeopleSoft with environments and infrastructure. I have done with implementation of full life cycle PeopleSoft project for HRMS and Global Payroll (India extension). I have been live through in developing project plans including identifying tasks, resources required estimation of time and effort.

 

I can add values in the below said areas in PeopleSoft domain.

 

Experience in all phases of PeopleSoft implementation, upgrade, and conversion and Maintenance project life cycles.

 

Expertise in PeopleSoft technical architecture.

 

Expertise in PeopleTools server components like database, application server, process scheduler, web server and underlying technologies.

 

Experience in installation and configuration of PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application.

 

Expericence in setup troubleshooting, tracing, debugging and management of the PeopleSoft environments.

 

Experience in performance tuning, technical (application server, web server, DB, scheduler etc) and functional (GP, WFA etc).

 

Experience in Oracle 9i/10G database administration (Hot/Cold backup, cloning, maintenance etc) and SQL Server.

 

Knowledge of Informatica (ETL), ImageNow (Documentation software) and Business Objects (Business Intelligence tool).

 

Functional experience in full life cycle in the areas of requirement gathering, design, Fit/Gap-analysis, Implementation, Upgrade, Production Support, Test scripts, testing and User Training of PeopleSoft HRMS Application.

 

Experience in analyzing requirements and make Functional specification, provide technical input in a PeopleSoft HCM implementation.

 

Experience in PeopleSoft HCM modules which comprises of Talent Acquisition Management (TAM), Workforce Administration (WFA), Global Payroll (GP - India Extension) and Candidate Gateway (e-Recruitment).

 

Expertise in writing SQLs and Queries to retrieve data based on the requirements.

 

Worked on setup and implementation of employee self services(ESS) and manager self service (MSS) modules.

 

Worked on Payroll processing, PIN packager, rule and non-rule packages.

 

Planning and Implementing Post-Production support.

 

Experience in end user Support for TAM, WFA and GP modules like solving defects in job openings/postings, employee/departments, security related issues in WFA, PIN Packager, Payroll processing, rule, non-rule packages in GP etc.

 

 

I started my career with development stream and worked on projects in VB as a front end and SQL server as a back end for nearly 8 months prior to got a chance in PeopleSoft. In 2004, I got an opportunity and started working on PeopleSoft PIA components and got into PS administration discipline.

 

According to people with whom I worked/working, I can say that I have always been an excellent Team Player with 'ready to help' and 'can do' attitude.

 

I am currently working with RBS, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group as a PeopleSoft Architect and DBA. Below is a brief summary of my professional career.

As a person, I like to be in any sports activity (TT and basketball are my favourite, but can be acceptable in any sports activity). I am very foodie person but somehow manage not to be overweight. My favourite time pass is driving and of looking thoroughly in order to find something, obviously, roaming and being at new places in vacations.
